Muromcew runs for county commission
Former head of local GOP says decisions should be based on facts, not ideology.
Alex Muromcew wants to bring his international finance know-how to the Teton County Board of County Commissioners.
The former TIAA asset manager, who now serves as chair of the Teton County Planning Commission, will run for one of the three seats up for election on the five-seat board.
It’s time to shrink the spending and tax collection of Teton County government, he said. His initial ideas: cutting off subsidies to airlines and shrinking the Travel and Tourism Board.
